Membership: Membership into The Salvation Army Northwest Community Center is available to a family for an annual membership of $30.00. Applications can be secured at the facility and covers those that reside within your household. Membership allows you access into the facility. Minimal fees apply for some programs, consult the Executive Director for prices.Facility Rentals: For special events, such as weddings, birthdays, reunions and club meetings. Consult with staff on availability.

Objectives: One of the fundamental objectives of the Northwest Community Center is to create opportunities for local children to be exposed to positive influences through mentoring, character building workshops, tutoring and recreational activities.The Salvation Army strives to build community networks and to collaborate with local residents, agencies businesses and individuals to provide social services.Vision:To have a primary focus on outreach to the local youth with an array of programs and activities that will enhance all areas of their lives. The most valuable and effective resource we have will be our ability to develop healthy & supportive relationships with the youth via our faithful staff; both employed and volunteered.
The Salvation Army Northwest Community Center, a joint project with the City of West Palm Beach, was opened on April 10, 2000.
SUPPORT SUMMER DAY CAMPFor the neediest children in Palm Beach County, the simple joys of a childhood summer may seem unattainable. These at-risk kids will spend their summer wandering the streets or hanging out with other idle kids -- many of them bad influences… a recipe for trouble. But The Salvation Army can help struggling local families avoid such an outcome for their children.Through donations, underprivileged local kids get to attend camp where they play sports, swim, explore the outdoors and make crafts. And beyond the recreation, they learn how to deal with the troubling issues and concerns that challenge them in their daily lives.
