OUR LEADERS – Lieutenants Ryan and Amber Meo
Thank you for your interest in our organization. Did you know that The Salvation Army in Tallahassee is more than just a Social Service agency? In fact, every week we have a dynamic worship service, children’s programs, and men’s and women’s fellowship. We pray that you will come and check out all that is going on at The Salvation Army Tallahassee Corps.
We pray God’s richest blessing on you and yours!
Lieutenants Ryan and Amber Meo
LIEUTENANT RYAN MEO
Lt. Ryan was born and raised in Clearwater Florida. Ryan came to know Jesus through The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center in 2010. It was there that his life was radically transformed by receiving and believing the Gospel message. He is a Salvationist through and through who is passionate about winning souls. He is eager to serve God as an officer in The Salvation Army. Lt. Ryan comes to Tallahassee as a graduate of The Salvation Army Evangeline Booth College, and he is currently studying Practical Christian Ministries at Trevecca Nazarene University. He has been working fulltime in ministry since 2011. Ryan has a strong desire for seeking and saving the lost. He has a special place in his heart for those recovering from drugs and alcoholism. Lt. Ryan enjoys fishing, wood working, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his wife Amber and son Cristopher.
LIEUTENANT AMBER MEO
Lt. Amber is a 3rd generation Salvationist. She grew up involved in all aspects of ministry within The Salvation Army. As a child, some of her most valued relationships were with the homeless and drug addicted who came to The Salvation Army Bronx Citadel Corps every day for a meal. Lt. Amber calls the Tampa Bay her home. She comes to Tallahassee with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from The University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Practical Ministry from the Evangeline Booth College. Lt. Amber enjoys trying out recipes that she finds on Pinterest, learning about Criminological Theory, and going along with any wild adventure that her husband plans for their family to do.
Both Lt. Ryan and Lt. Amber are excited about what God is doing in the community of Tallahassee and feel honored to come alongside those who are already being faithful to God’s plans for this city.
