The Salvation Army of Seminole County encourages you to invest in our community through the procurement of a Community Response Vehicle (CRV). Your help in achieving our $130,000 goal will speed the purchase of a multi-purpose vehicle ready to respond to various needs throughout Seminole County. About Us
Serving in Seminole County since 1933. Every day, 365 days a year, The Salvation Army of Salvation Army Seminole County is on the frontline providing relief and helping people who are experiencing difficulties. Many families find it a daily challenge to make ends meet. Particularly, in these unprecedented days of COVID-19, the struggle has intensified. Many are faced with job loss, depleted resources and food insecurity. Your contribution makes it possible for The Salvation Army to assist with some of those needs.
The Salvation Army continues to respond to the ever-increasing need by providing financial assistance for rent and utilities, providing food to families through daily food pantry operations and scheduled drive thru food box initiatives. Water, hygiene kits, paper supplies, food and care packages are distributed to assisted living facilities and other vulnerable members of the community.
Additionally, we provide hope in other practical ways such as companionship for the lonely and isolated and safety for victims of domestic abuse, human trafficking and modern slavery. Our Community Center runs weekly activities for children and young people, deprived families and older people.
People look to us for help on a daily basis, and it is only through the kindness and generosity of supporters like you that we can provide so many vitals services and have such a positive impact on so many lives in Seminole County. Thank you for helping us to DO THE MOST GOOD.

Friendly people coming together for worship through contemporary and traditional music, Bible readings, testimony and a morning message that guide you though Biblical principles that will help your everyday life. After the service you’ll even have an opportunity to talk or pray with our pastors, Lts Omar & Erika Lugo.
All of our programs are open to the public and there is a specially designed program for everyone in the family!
Sunday
9.30 AM – Praise & Fellowship Meeting – The emphasis is on praise & prayer
10.00 AM – Sunday School – The Army adheres to the truths of the bible and Sunday school students are taught from both the Old & New Testaments
11.00 AM – Holiness Meeting – This is the name the Army gives to its Sunday morning worship. The emphasis is generally on how the Christian should live both in devotion to God and in service to mankind. “With Heart to God to Hand to Man”.
Tuesday
10.00 AM – Bible Study
11.00 AM – Home League – Membership is open to all women ages 16 and over. It has a four told program of worship, service, education and fellowship.

4.30 PM – 6.00PM – Youth Character Building programs

Community Center Director: Ross Cook
The Community Center is open to the public and school age children from 2:30pm – 5.30 PM Monday through Friday. We offer the school children, homework assistance and a secure place for fun after school activities which include pool tables, basketball, video games, board games and much more. There is an application for participation in the gym.
The application has to be completed before participation is allowed. Parents please be aware that we are not responsible for any personal belongings that could go missing while the children are in the gym.
Throughout the school year we also offer a summer day camp program. The hours for the camp are 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday – Friday. Summer dates are June 5th, 2023 - 4th of August 2023
The cost of the summer day Camp will be $70.00 per child each week, plus extra fees for field trips. Lunch and Snacks are provided by the Salvation Army each day. We begin taking applications for summer camp at the start of April and we have placement for 40 children, so don’t delay and get your child’s application in soon! you can do this by clicking on the summer camp link and then you can either mail or fax the application to the attention of Ross Cook (Community Center Director).Please note to reserve spot you have to pay first week's payment which is nonrefundable.
We now offer Pickleball for adults, we have 3 indoor pickleball courts available for recreational use. The reservation fee is $5.00 per person, per hour a minimum of 2 players to a maximum of 4 is required. To make a reservation please call 386 216 0705. Tuesday and Thursdays is open play from 9am - 1.30pm and reserved courts are Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
We offer the opportunity to the public to rent our community center for various activities, Basketball tournaments, birthday parties etc.
If you are interested in renting our facility you will need to fill out a Rental Contract which can be picked up at the at The Salvation Army office. You can either mail or fax the contract back to the office to the attention of the community center director for approval. The rental fee is $40.00 per hour and a $40.00 deposit which is refundable if everything is left clean and in the same condition you found it in.
