Lieutenant Colonel Eddie Hobgood

Music and the arts play an important part in the work and Ministry of TSA. “Theater is a wonderful medium that draws people in and speaks to some people who would otherwise stay outside the church rather than hear a sermon.” -Native North Carolinian, Lt. Colonel Edward Hobgood.

2018 Volunteer of the Year Awarded to Latchkey League banner

Join Us at the 2018 Civic Luncheon as We Honor…

Volunteer of the Year Award: The Latchkey Leauge

The mission of the Latchkey League, Inc., founded by Myra Janco Daniels, is to support and provide educational, cultural and recreational services to children in the greater Naples area who are in need of after-school supervision and activities, and to promote educational development for their future. The Leauge has contributed significant financial support and countless volunteer hours at The Fran Cohen Youth Center.

Community Partner of the Year Award: United Way of Collier County & Community Foundation of Collier County

Our partner agencies work hard every day to advance the common good in our community because we all win when a child succeeds in school and when families are financially stable. When Hurricane Irma hit, collaboration proved to be the best way to effectively respond to urgent survivor needs for food, water, gas and lost income. Our disaster assistance is now in phase 2: Long-term case management, and a year later our partners remain committed to contributing their expertise and funding.

Corporate Partner of the Year Award: First Florida Integrity Bank

First Florida Integrity Bank is committed to shaping our neighborhoods and engaging with their neighbors through community giving and community action.

“My father taught me a great recipe for life that I try to pass along. It’s learn,
earn and return,” said Garrett Richter, Founder.

They have provided support to The Salvation Army through event sponsorships, donations and volunteer efforts.
