Support the Youth and Music programs by making a tax-deductible donation today.
Learning is the key to unlocking the possibilities inherent in every young life. But on the streets of too many neighborhoods, a child’s love of learning is too often obscured by realities such as hunger and violence. Donating to The Salvation Army ensures that these programs can continue to help children in need across Clearwater and Upper Pinellas County.
To donate by mail, please make checks payable to The Salvation Army and send to:

A Prayer for You
Dear Heavenly Father,
Our need for You is greater today than ever.
As we face these uncertain times,
we need our hope restored.
We need to be reminded of Your constant and
complete healing grace and love for us.
As we reach out to You, we pray that You help us to heal the burdens of our neighborhoods, our country and our world.
Help us be faithful in prayer and put our hope in You.
Teach us what You want us to learn from this pandemic.
Please help us to not take our fear and lack of
control out on those around us, and show
us how to be patient as the world heals.
In these days of sickness, give us the
wisdom to draw nearer to You.
In Your name, we pray.
Hope > Fear
“Hope is greater than Fear” — A phrase that we live by each day as believers in Christ and protectors of the vulnerable. These days have challenged the entire world and we’re all seeing the constant news of the situation, but how can we respond?
What can we first do together? Pray! MTK has launched a Virtual Prayer Room, open 24 hours and we’re asking individuals, groups, families, departments and corps around the territory, and world, to select 1 hour time slots and keep prayer going. Please visit the Virtual Prayer Room and sign up at bit.ly/VirtualPrayerRoomSignup for your block and let’s keep prayer going nonstop around the world.
Many of you know already that we’ve launched an amazing useful portal called Church in a Box. This portal is a great resource for practicing our social distancing with church at home. We have materials for homeschooling, devotions, messages of encouragement, worship music, tutorials, etc. And we keep adding more and more. Today’s technology offers a unique blessing in keeping the world connected: the “Global Village”. Visit Church in a Box.
Holy Week is this coming week, and we’ll be posting a daily message on the Church in a Box portal, keep checking daily.
A Coronavirus Pandemic Relief portal was also launched by EDS/CRD for resources to use and share on social media and disseminate information to the public.
Also, the Emotional and Spiritual Care Hotline is available every day 9am-9am EDT at 844-458-HOPE(4673).
We at MTK are happy to work with people like you and we can’t thank you enough for all the work every employee and volunteer makes working the front lines every day no matter what circumstance. So we want you all to send us your photos on our Facebook page @ministrytoolkit, of you all working in the field, or working from home, online meetings, how you’re churching from home, or where ever you are these days. Together we are an Army near and far.
