Beginning on February 1st, special discounts will be offered on jewelry, baskets, glass and crystal jars, floral arrangements, and pet supplies to help celebrate Valentine’s Day. As an added incentive, shoppers who provide an email address will be eligible to participate in a Valentine’s Day Gift Drawing, on February 14th of a one-dozen rose floral arrangement, donated by Love’s Flower Shop.
The Salvation Army of Palm Beach County wants to help residents purchase the perfect gift to express their appreciation to friends and love to their significant other. As the current financial situation has placed many on a tight budget, the organization’s West Palm Beach Family Store will offer Valentine themed gifts at a price that will not overburden anyone’s wallet. Sale revenues will be used to support local programs and services provided by The Salvation Army.
“Thrifting is an excellent way to find unique, simple gifts that evoke a true sense of nostalgia, and personalized appreciation,” said Family Store manager, Bruce Garabrant. “Creative shoppers can easily make new and romantic gifts from old items. If your Valentine plans include a gift,: said Garabrant, “the “Thrifting for Valentine’s Day” Sale might be the perfect choice.”
