Major Celimene LaLanne | Boca Raton Corps Officer and Pastor

Major Celimene “Ce Ce” LaLanne was Born in Port Au Prince, Haiti in 1951. Raised Roman Catholic, CeCe received God’s call to join The Salvation Army at 20 years old in the town of Vieux d’Aquin. After high school, she went to sowing school, where she graduated in 1978. She started work as a supervisor at Colles’ Furniture. She studied food service preparation at Chapelle Cuisine in Paris, and she graduated from The Salvation Army Catherine Booth Training College in Atlanta.

Major Ce Ce has a very giving heart and is an amazing cook. She provides lunch for Council Members, cooks for Church and youth events, and any time there is a need at the Boca Raton Corps.

Major Celimene, along with her husband Major Serge LaLanne, has been a Corps Officer in The Salvation Army for 21 years. Their appointments have taken them to the Naples, Miami Edison, Haiti and Sunset Corps.

Majors Serge and Celimene LaLanne have served as the Corps Officers and Pastors in Boca Raton since 2017.
