Rain or shine – our monthly food distribution went smoothly despite some stormy weather.
This monthly food distribution has turned into a drive thru event, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, allowing us to continue to serve those in need while practicing social distancing, in order to keep everyone safe.
Our Volunteers, who are simply amazing, pulled on their rain gear and greeted each person with a smile. From our Family duo Franklin and Amber, to our faithful servants Janie, Nicole, Vick, Ellen, and Stephanie, family and individuals were able to receive non-perishable food items, bread, fruit & vegetables.
Of course none of this would be possible without our wonderful Social Service Case Workers; Martha and Elizabeth; our Maintenance guys, Barsky and Joyce who helps us set up; and our very own Captain Brandon Mason who helps direct traffic.
We sincerely THANK our incredible donors, who give from their heart, with grocery items and monetary donations that truly makes this event happen.
