covid-19 relief food truck lake worth

The Salvation Army Lake Worth Worship & Service Center teamed up with the Palm Springs Parks & Recreation and Police Departments to distribute more than 300 Prepared meals to residents in the Marlboro Trailer Park and Lakeside Village communities.

“Our partnership with the City of Palm Springs has been such a blessing, not only to us but to those in our communities across Palm Beach County during the pandemic”, said Lt. Jeremy Porter, Corps Officer and Pastor of the Lake Worth Salvation Army. “We need our community now more than ever to be able to reach individuals and families who might otherwise go without a meal”.

Along with Lt. Porter are Corps Sargent Major Dan Hager and Corps Soldier Vicky Jaimes, who are not only Church members, but also Volunteers. We can’t thank them enough for their tireless efforts in helping with our mission of outreach and ministry.

The Salvation Army throughout Palm Beach County and across the nation are being joined by volunteers, donors and supporters who want to help others, who want to make a difference in their communities and who want to give from the heart.
